New Design++® Tutorial Released
The new 76-page Design++ tutorial extends the original Vessel Exercise Tutorial. It comes with an example project that continues from the original tutorial project. The new tutorial covers many of the more recent Design++ features and advanced modeling techniques:
- Use of :create and :init macros in *substructure* attribute rules
- Use of predefined :mounted-on relation in *relations* attribute rules
- Attribute value determination order
- External data files
- Adding flanges using with_rotation, free, and symbol geometric primitives
- Database creation and access with :std function/macro
- Use of 3D CAD symbols
- "Assembly inheritance" with the use of ?assembly reference
- AutoDrafter for 2D drawings
The new tutorial is shipped to current Design++ users as part of the latest Design++ 9.0.77 patch release.
